Jarunee was made to work in the logging industry and was later made to work in the trekking camps of Sangklaburi.
🧘🏻♀️ RETIREMENT:
Jarunee was actually owned by the same family as Chaichana and was brought to ElephantsWorld in 2016. She is very shy, and tends to be cautious around people. At ElephantsWorld, she is able to feel safer and potters around at a slower pace, enjoying her peaceful retirement.

Jarunee’s mahout is Mawdang. They have a very close bond ❤️
ℹ️ Facts about her:
Jarunee spent the majority of her life with very few people around her and has not had much experience interacting with other elephants, and because of this, spends much of her time preferring to be alone. Her temper can be very stubborn and on occasion aggressive.
